Workshop on the Schoodic Peninsula, Maine 2019

I’m anticipating another great workshop at Schoodic this year. The fruits of my labor from last year’s workshop is shown above. The date gives a clue as to how long it took me to finish after starting the preliminary sketches last summer! This painting was shown in the Anthropocene 2019 Art Exhibition last month as a statement about climate change and sea level rise!!

The workshop is offered by the New York Academy of Art each summer. After making new friends and having a wonderful time I’m returning for a week of instruction and painting en plain air. Can’t wait!
